Day 93: Decking Day 11 & Pebble Tec!!!!!!

 

Whew, finally we have Pebble Tec!! Brad from Poolside Plastering showed up today with his crew to start the Pebble Tec. We're going with a Prism Blue in the main pool and a Dessert Gold on the landings. That should give it a nice sand look on the platforms and nice Caribbean look in the water. Can't wait to see it filled TOMORROW!!! 

Along with Brad, Jose and his crew are back today to work on the wall that will connect the retaining wall in the pool to the retaining wall Jose is putting up.

Setup for the Pebble Sheen starts!

Brad from Poolside Plastering and Shane from Pebble Tec Inc. start to wash down the baja shelf so they can start laying the Dessert Gold Pebble Sheen down.

And it starts!! Brad starts to lay the Dessert Gold Pebble Sheen on the baja shelf.

Shane evens out the Pebble Sheen

And the baja shelf is complete!

Baja shelf is done so Brad starts to focus on the bar deck. This will also be Dessert Gold.

I get home to most of the pool being done! Wow, great color choices!

You can see how the hardscaping wall connects to the pool retaining wall in the picture above.

And the Pebble Sheen is DONE! The hardscaping will be finished tomorrow and then all that is left is the landscaping!
