Day 86: Decking - Day 6 - A Whole Lotta Nothin'

 

Well it started off as a beautiful day.....then it all turned! They were talking about scattered storms, but nothing that would last all day. Boy did they get that wrong! What started off as a small storm cell that would have passed us in seconds turned into an all day thunderstorm! It started coming down and all the contractors started running! Jose and Brad's crew hung in the latest and tried to wait it out, but that didn't happen. Eventually even they gave up and went home. There was no way anyone was getting work done today, it was ugly!

BUT before the storms came in Joe Lyons the electrician showed up with his crew, Brad from Sal's Landscaping showed up with Jose and his crew, Tony from Pebble Pools came out and Brad from Poolside Plastering was there. It was a packed house! Only to have the entire party ruined by rain!! I think I may have upset Mother Nature a little......

This was about the time the skies open and all the contractors ran like girls to their cars......gotta admit I might have been in the rush too. I got the hell out of there and headed to work.
