Day 42: The miscommunication continues

Day 42: The miscommunication continues

Alright, I really hate to think these guys are playing games, but something isn't right. Last month when I had my first issue with Pebble Pools I started to get nervous. Up until that point everyone has been extremely honest and the communication has been wonderful. After admittedly dropping the ball last month I expressed my concern to Branch about: A - The sudden lack of communication and B - How Tony handled the situation. Tony essentially told me to scratch my ass and "it is what it is". At this point I have only dealt with Tony a couple of times. Since I do not know much about Tony and he handled the situation so poorly I explained to Branch that I rather only deal with him from here on out. Tony is obviously not a "people person" but Branch is and I have been dealing with him anyway. Branch understood where I was coming from and agreed that they did drop the ball and the communication would get better.

I received an email later that evening letting me know that the masons were going to begin working on the pool starting Wednesday (5/1) and will be there everyday until the mason work is done. Ok, as I said I have faith in Branch and although I was disappointed with the way they handled the situation at least I have a timeline again and I know whats going on.

Fast forward to today. I am excited that the work will start back up and we will finally get to see progress again. 7 o'clock comes and nothing.....8 o'clock still nothing...9 o'clock, yep, nothing..so I finally call Branch. Branch explains that he doesn't know what is going on and he will make some calls and get back to me. He calls me back and explains that the work was pushed back a day and they will start tomorrow. Before I can even say anything Branch starts to explain that the rain....blah blah blah... I was finally able to get a word in and explained to Branch (again) that the issue isn't that it is pushed back a day, the issue is the lack of communication! The excuse is since I did not want to deal with Tony nobody called me and let me know they were behind...again.....seriously..?

I posted a very upset blog last month when they dropped the ball the first time. After reading the blog over I  removed it. Up until that point Pebble did a good job and I felt guilty posting it. Sometimes you just feel better after an angry typing session. I figured it was unfair and Pebble would rectify the situation and the communication would get better. Not only was I wrong, but it is getting to the point where everyone's attitude is "What's the big deal?" Branch keeps repeating "Once the pool is done you will be happy". After our first unpleasant conversation I thought Branch would understand how much I would be looking forward to seeing the work start again. How do you not at least follow up to make sure everyone is back on the same page?

Now I am starting to get nervous........

UPDATE: The masons actually did show up today which is nice. But again, all I ask is to be kept in the loop. It would have been fine if they came tomorrow, I understand the weather put them behind a day. Just keep me abreast on the situation.
