Day 91: The Beginning of The End!

 

It has been just about three months and it should all come to an end this week. It is almost surreal at this point! After three months of contractors, dirt, decisions, banging, diesel engines, and strange phone numbers I am ready to get this over with!! Brad is coming in tomorrow to start the Pebble Sheen. I am going with Dessert Gold on the landings (Baja Shelf & Bar Area) and Prism Blue for the rest of the pool and the grotto. Brad and his crew will lay the Dessert Gold tomorrow and the Prism Blue on Tuesday. Wednesday he will come back and acid wash everything. I am having Kimberton Fire Company bring in the water on Wednesday which means by Thursday we should be swimming! Whew!! Chad is coming back tomorrow to finish the cement going into the bar area. Brad should be done the hardscaping by Thursday and Sal is going to start the Landscaping tomorrow. So EVERYTHING should be done by the end of next week. Again, I almost can't believe it!

One more week and we are done! We already put out the Patio furniture. Think we're ready?!

I turn my back for two seconds and Dee jumps in! Fortunately that stone will get covered!
