Day 83: Decking - Day 3 - Fire Pit Wall

 

Day 3 of the hardscaping and the sun is shining bright! Today Jose and his crew are going to work on laying the perimeter of the fire pit area. The lower wall is laid out now to finish up that wall and start on the fire pit wall. But not before Al stops by and runs the rest of the propane.

All the propane will be connected and hidden behind the grotto. I also added a water spigot back there in case I need it in the future.

Brad lays out the wall surrounding the fire pit and a pillar.

Brad goes over the progress with Jose above. This is where the steps will go.

A couple of final looks from above to make sure everything looks good.

 When I returned home from work I saw the progress for the day. More wall!

This wall is going to the walk out basement

There will be steps added next to the wall the way to the right of the picture. 

More screening has been compacted and the wall around the fire pit has been started.
