Day 81: Decking - Day 2 - We See A Wall!

 

Day two and the guys are moving along pretty good. They filled in the trenches yesterday and continued compacting them today. Apparently when they laid out the decking the first time it was only a rough draft. That means when I placed the flags for the conduits it was off, not very far off, but off. Nothing Brad and his crew couldn't handle, they moved the conduits where they needed to be and the work continued. 

Most exciting part of today is that we have a wall! You can see the color and design we went with to compliment the natural look of the pool. This yard is going to look completely different after this phase and I can't wait! I never imagined the finished project would ever look this fantastic. Which goes to show the caliber of everyones work on this project. Only time will tell, but I imagine this will hold up for decades. 

You can see the propane line in yellow sticking out of the ground. That's where the fire pit will sit.

And we have a wall....it's a short wall, but its a wall!

I am finally starting to see the big picture....I think?
