Day 71: Electric Part 1

Day 71: Electric Part 1

Another day washed out yesterday, but the project starts back up today! Joe Lyons is here with his crew to work on the electric stuff. I don't think Joe realized what he was getting into here. Nothing he can't handle, but I don't think anyone informed him off all the automated stuff in this build. Since I am going with the Jandy system Joe will have to put in separate controllers for some of the components I have. On top of that I added a number of receptacles, spigots, propane, and speaker lines throughout the yard. Once the decking goes in it will be too late, so I figured I would run as much stuff now while I have the chance. I rather have it and not need it as opposed to needing it and not having it.

The posts are in and the Jandy sub panel box is mounted.

You can see the Jandy power center opened up here waiting for everything to get connected.

Everything is closed up and labeled.
All tucked away and waiting to be fired up. You can see the control panel for the
fire bowl to the right of the power center.

Here is the Jandy Levolor automatic pool fill next to the control panel for the fire pit.

The LED lights are installed
Really looking forward to working everything with the Jandy system.

I never thought they would dig up all the PVC going to the bar without breaking it. This PVC will house the cables for  the electric, Cat6 (ethernet), DirecTV, propane and water going behind the bar.
As if the yard wasn't dug up enough, there are trenches everywhere. I feel like it's a game of Pitfall out there!
